July 24th, was a great day!! It flew by so fast!
Thankful that it rained the week before because it had been so dry out for weeks, the rain made the grass nice and green and fresh looking for this outdoor wedding!
Every couple has their own way of loving each other and it shows up differently in each couple. I knew the first day I met John and Michelle that they truly loved each other. They are kind, soft spoken and considerate of each other. The way they look at each other just melts my heart!
We started the day out taking pictures around noon. Everything from pictures to the ceremony to the reception was all on the same property out by Miami. It was so perfect, the location was amazing, and so breathtaking!
Michelle's gorgeous dress is from Davids Bridal!
The guys suits are from Tip Top Tailers. I must say that I love that navy and red together!
The flowers are from Bartsch Gardens. I am a huge fan of real bouquets!
Let me tell you, this first look was an emotional one. John was so nervous and anxious, it took everything in him to not turn around the second he knew she was coming up behind him. He could not stand still! It was so cute! I enjoy watching these two just love on each other, they are made for each other and God has big plans for them!
After the first look we continued taking photos of John and Michelle and the wedding party. Here are some of my favorites during that time.
As the day got later, it got hotter!! I went home with a horrible sun burn, I have so much on my mind during the day that putting on sun screen is like that 1000th thing on my to do list... ouch. Thankfully is was a bit windy which helped cool us all off a bit. Something you cant notice in the photos is that there were tons and tons of grasshoppers, every step you took made them jump. haha.
At this point in the day we gathered up all the family members and took all the family photos. Here are a few of them.
This next photo is something I have never done or even seen been done before but it so special and unique. So this was a first for me in my photography career. It was very important to John that we take this large family photo of both families joining as one.
I love looking at this photo.
The pictures were all done by the time 3'oclock rolled around and it was time for the ceremony. I love the set up in the trees that they had and those white chairs are perfect for any outdoor weeding. The chairs were rented from Heartland Rentals!
The reception followed the ceremony and was nice and relaxing, the meal was excellent and the table décor was beautiful. It was a simple reception ending in the classic shoe game.
I am a very emotional person and it doesn't take much for me to start crying. During the reception when Michelle's dad spoke, I had tears running down my cheeks, and so did a lot of others. Definitely a special moment that occurred during the day, lots of emotions and memories in the story he told.
Evening rolled in and John and Michelle took off for their honeymoon!! Congratulations you two! Thanks for letting me be a part of your day! I loved meeting both your families and I look forward to many more photoshoots with you both!
