Honestly I dont even know where to start with this one! Too much too say! So I'll start with Im part of this southern MB community based photography page, I posted on there that I would like to second shoot a wedding and within a week I was at Joe and Delorahs wedding. Thank you so very much rjexpressions for this experience. I had never been a second shooter before this. Go check out her page https://www.rjexpressions.ca/ for more photos on this wedding!
The wedding venue was Prairie homestead Weddings. Go visit their page to see more beautiful images on their property. http://prairiehomesteadweddings.com/
I found it unique and special that Delorah had first look pictures with her bridesmaids, and if that is not special enough, they formed a prayer circle around her and started praying. It was at this moment already that I started tearing up. After that we took intimate first look pictures of the bride and groom, meaning no one else was around. I really liked that cause I felt it lets the couple express their emotions in more of a vulnerable way.
The next emotional part was Joe playing a song for her as part of his vow, and after their vows their parents prayed for them. Delorah's father passed away a little while ago and on the seat he was supposed to sit was a hat with flowers on it. Also during the reception Delorah's mom played a video that her father had left for her for on her wedding day, at this moment my tears could not stay inside me anymore.
So as you can see the whole day was so special and emotional. The love Joe and Delorah have for God is so evident in the way they love each other.
It was an absolute honor for me to be at their wedding. Thank you again Joe, Delorah and Rolanda (rjexpressions).
